Boho Haven is a small collection of short-term vacation rentals in and around Asheville, North Carolina, hosted by locals Kat Blount and Benji Burrell. Two apartments sit one mile from downtown Asheville in the house where Kat and Benji live, and two more sit in the Big Ivy Valley of Barnardsville, about 25 minutes north of Asheville. Every home sleeps two to four guests and has its own private entrance.

Stay near downtown Asheville

Our two in-town apartments are in a quiet, wooded neighborhood in Asheville's 28801 zip code, about one mile from downtown and a little over a mile and a half from the Grove Park Inn. You can walk or bike downtown, and cafes, restaurants, and a wine shop are a 5-10 minute walk away. The Blue Ridge Parkway is about an 8 mile drive.

  • The Basement Apartment - a one-bedroom for two with its own entrance, a full kitchen, and a private patio with a propane fire pit and a sunset view. Free parking.
  • Boho Haven in the Trees - a one-bedroom for two on the second story above the carport, with a private balcony in the trees, a mountain view, and a fire pit. This apartment is not suitable for children or infants.

The house runs on 100% solar power.

Mountain view rentals in Barnardsville

In Barnardsville, the homes sit beneath the Blue Ridge in the Big Ivy Valley, about 10 minutes from Weaverville and 20-25 minutes from Asheville. A car is essential.

  • Mountain Peace - a one-bedroom with two beds for up to two guests, a private hot tub deck with mountain views, a covered pergola dining area, and a laptop-friendly workspace.
  • Peaceful Mountain Haven - a two-bedroom for up to four guests, fully remodeled in 2023, with an indoor fireplace, a private deck with a propane fire pit, a covered porch, and a washer and dryer. Not suitable for children under 12.
